Professional Summary

This is a summary of my professional history. My linked in profile contains more information. I’ll keep this post updated with the latest info.

Before that, I was a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University. During grad school, I interned with NextJump working on mobile development, Java + Hibernate and web services.

Yhope is a site that host various videos for visitors to watch. My role on this project was to develop the Flash/ActionScript coding and the PHP code to send information from the database to Flash and vice versa. I especially focused on the coding of the filmstrip navigational menu. Technologies: Flash/ActionScript, PHP, Ajax, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL

Step Forward wanted primarily a general site to share information about their company and their foot-care products. My role on this project was to develop the HTML and CSS code from another person’s design and to also integrate the site with a CMS back-end. Technologies: PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL

Kronologic is a site that allows you to do simple time management, specifically geared towards web projects. There is a timer which can be used to track how much time is spent on specific tasks of a project. The site also keeps detail statistics which can be used to estimate future projects, to keep the project on schedule, or to use as a basis for charging clients. Technologies: PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS

Mt Vernon SDA Church is a church located in the state of Washington. They wanted a general church website to reach out to their members and to the community. My role on this project was to code the HTML and CSS structure, and to integrate the site with a CMS back-end. Technologies: HTML, CSS

OC Ministries is a website I created for the United Student Movement government body of Oakwood University. One of their members got in contact with me after I had already graduated and left. They wanted a website where students could view information on the various ministries that were being offered. This site features simple content management where administrators can edit information on-page as if using a text editor. Technologies: PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax
